Dr. Lisceth Brazil-Cruz
Dr. Brazil-Cruz brings over a decade of experience helping middle school, high school, and graduate students through the college and scholarship application process. She has worked closely within her community to develop and implement curriculum and workshops for parents in both English and Spanish. These workshops focus on demystifying college applications, college funding and preparing to transition to college. Her educational philosophy is based on helping students achieve their educational hopes and dreams and reaching their fullest potential.
Dr. Brazil-Cruz holds a doctoral degree in School Organization and Educational Policy from the University of California, Davis. She obtained a Master’s degree in Mexican American Studies from San Jose State University. She is committed to increasing access to graduate and professional school both through research and institutional practice.
As a college advisor, Dr. Brazil-Cruz provides clients with the skills and resources they need to become competitive applicants. She helps eliminate confusion from the application process, add strategic and editorial value to students’ applications, and find the right educational fit for each individual student.
